Five-year Strategy Cooperation on Caofeidian international eco-city

On November 9, 2011 SDT Foundation and the Caofeidian City Management Committee signed a five-year strategic cooperation agreement to create a prototype eco-city for low carbon development in Caofeidian with Chinese characteristics and global impact. SDT will play a consulting role for Caofeidian City and help to establish a Sustainable Development Technology Research Institute, in Caofeidian, to build capacity for innovation and management; to develop a city data base for best practice; to establish an international think tank with a global network; to build an education and training facility for human resource development; and to develop an economic model that optimizes the utilization of natural resources and energy. .
